Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken and Broccoli: Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Steam or blanch broccoli florets until bright green and just tender to preserve crunch.
  2. Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, melt plant-based butter over medium heat. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt more plant-based butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in all-purpose flour to create a roux, cooking for 1 to 2 minutes until bubbly but not browned. Slowly whisk in plant-based milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  4. Add Cheese and Seasonings: Stir in shredded plant-based cheese (plant-based) and vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural). Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg (natural) and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Continue stirring until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
